Due to presence of Covid-19 virus and related preventive measures in Iran, we advise Slovenian citizens against all travels to Iran.
The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia will be offering limited consular services until further notice in order to limit the spread of Covid-19.
At the arrival to Iran, all passengers will have to submit a certificate of negative COVID-19 molecular test in English, issued no later than 72 hours before the entry. Passengers from European countries, will be tested again for COVID-19 RT-PCR at the points of entries, and should self-isolate until receiving test result.

A 10-day quarantine is imposed on all persons entering the Republic of Slovenia, who are residents or who arrive from a country on the red list, unless they submit a medical certificate proving that they have tested negative for COVID-19 or a medical certificate certifying that they have recovered from COVID-19 or a COVID-19 vaccination certificate. More information regarding conditions on entry into the Republic of Slovenia is available on the web pages of Slovenian Police, Ministry of the Interior and European Commission.
